HAWMC: Best conversation I had this week

For the month of April, I'm participating in the Health Activist Writer's Month Challenge from Wego Health. Each day I'll be writing a health-related post based on the HAWMC prompts, aiming to challenge myself as a writer and health activist. Thanks for following! This conversation actually took place more than a week ago, while away on holiday in Wales with my mother-in-law. I'm terrible at remembering details, so this is a rough retelling of our conversation...

Molly: I think I'd like to teach little kids. Did you love it when you were a teacher?

Anne: It's so much fun! One of my favorite things to do was teach them how to cook.

Molly: Wow, that would be amazing! What sort of food did you cook with them?

Anne: All sorts. We didn't have a full kitchen, so it was all made using either a fridge or a microwave, but the kids didn't mind. They loved it.

Molly: I bet they did!

Anne: One of the funniest classes we had in the kitchen were making noodles for Chinese New Year. You should have seen them with their chopsticks!

Molly: Adorable... I'd love to teach cooking and nutrition in a school, or maybe have my own kitchen where I hold lessons one day.

Anne: That sounds really good. I always loved having the boys help out when I was cooking at home. It was great to have them standing on chairs, stirring things.

Molly: Your very own assembly line!

So there you have it. Be on the lookout for The Particular Kitchen cooking classes in the future!!
