You are so much more than your body.
As kids, we are so good at listening to our bodies; at honoring when we feel hungry and full. Somewhere along the way, though, we start receiving messages about what our bodies should and shouldn’t look like, and how much food we should or shouldn’t eat. These messages come from well-meaning family and friends, as well as all forms of media (especially social media). All of a sudden, we’re totally disconnected with our hunger cues, our innate ability to eat when we’re hungry and stop when we’re full. We punish ourselves for not looking a certain way, and for not being a certain size or shape.
It takes practice to tune back into what our bodies truly need. I’m here to help you get there, and to realize that you are so much more than your body.
